Happy Holidays!
Hi Everyone,
I hope you've had a wonderful week and I wish you all a very relaxing holiday break. We only have a few more days to go. We will work on a little gift for you to take to your site tomorrow.
Please bring in your time sheet tomorrow for the week of 12/6 and I will check your journals too. Be sure to have your classroom binder and CC binder as well.
IF YOU ARE ABSENT TOMORROW: You MUST call in your hours to the classroom phone. If you are leaving a message, state your name, the dates and number of hours per day as well as the the total!
Are you going to volunteer at your site during the holiday? If so, please inform me and fill out a separate time sheet for each week.
DUBLIN/AMADOR/FOOTHILL STUDENTS: You have a minimum day on Friday 12/17. It does not affect your internship hours too much, so please go to your community classroom site. Last period is out at or around 12:40. Call your supervisor if you will be arriving a little late.
HOMEWORK: For those who have not brought in the CMA Exam Study Guide, please bring it in tomorrow so I can check you off for that. You should have it already, but if not, go to
http://www.ccbma.org/, go to "exam" and print out the study guide.
MORE HOMEWORK: Check the blog every night - it's the best communication tool for keeping you informed. Don't come in and say "I didn't check the blog" PLEASE!
Take care and I'll see you tomorrow.

Time for your first Time Sheet and Homework Due
Hi Everyone,
Time sheet signed? Make sure to have that with you and your CC binder on Wednesday.Check your 11/30 to 12/5 time sheets. Please record your time on the 1/4 hour. For example, if you worked 2 hours, 25 minutes, round up to 2:30. If you worked 2 hours, 10 minutes, round up to 2:15. You may have a five minute "round up" if you are very close to the 1/4 hour, if not, list the time closer to the previous 1/4 hour. Example: 2 hours, 2 minutes = 2 hours. If you are going to be absent tomorrow, PLEASE CALL IN YOUR HOURS TO THE CLASSROOM number or have someone bring your time sheet to class for you.
Please check the blog entry regarding Tri-Valley Haven's volunteer opportunities (12/6).
HOMEWORK FOR TOMORROW: Please download and print the CMA Exam Study Guide from the website: www.ccbma.org. Click on "exam" and print out the study guide. You may already have this in your binder from earlier in the year, please check. This document serves as the study guide for your final exam for Medical Occupations as well as the CMA exam itself. I am encouraging all of my students to take the exam, as this would serve you well as you seek employment or applying to medical programs. It looks great on the resume' too! You will receive 25 points toward your grade when you show me this document along with your journal entries for 12/2 to 12/7.
See you tomorrow!
