NEW Assignment and Medical Explorers Meeting Too.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the new week. This week, we start online training. I will grade you on completion of this assignment (25 points). This should take you about 15-20 minutes. Review the information, take the test (more than once if you have to) until you pass. Click on the ribbon after you pass and print out the certificate of completion and bring it to class on Wednesday.

The main topic of the assignment is "ERGONOMICS" - body mechanics and movement that prevent injury. All medical personnel need to practice this! So many have to quit due to back injury from lifting patients, equipment and supplies incorrectly.

ERGONOMICS is also designing the job to fit the worker, rather than forcing the worker to fit the job.

Log in with your school I.D. # (user name) Click on "Log me in"!
Click on Course (this week - it's back injury prevention)
Click on "Accept"
Click on "Introduction" Be patient and read each screen. You can pause it
at the bottom of the screen, and then resume play.
Click on "Tutorial"
Click on "Scenarios"
Click on "Quiz" ----Once you pass, look at the top of the screen and print out your certificate! Initial it and then bring it to me for signature.

There will be other topics to cover through this online process. By the way, I took the quiz in less than 30 seconds.

How are the evaluations and training plans coming along? Please get these done early, thanks so much. If the supervisor can, please ask them to do the evaluation by appointment with you and then it will be finished and in your binder, ready to turn in. Some need to take it from you and then return it. Don't forget to follow up with them! Try for this Thursday as your date to retrieve it.
