I hope you had a nice weekend. Finals are coming up and I will give you the details tomorrow. For the PM class, your "final" will be on Wednesday 3/2.

For GHS - your final will be on Thursday 3/3 and then you will be in class again on Friday, 3/4.

GHS: Special schedule tomorrow! P1 - 8-8:40, P2 and P3 - 8:50 to 10:20
HOMEROOM: 10:30 Lunch: 11:30-12:10 P4 - 12:10-12:50 P5- 1:00-1:40

Homework due tomorrow: A completed draft of your personal resume'. Please see www.about.com for help if needed. Find a sample and put your information in. Make sure your name, address, phone and email are centered at the top of the page. Feel free to call me if you have questions. 25 points to all students turning in a draft tomorrow, on 2/23. April 2011 is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Tri-Valley Haven is participating in a National Day of Action, on April 5th 2011. This Day of Action is called “It’s Time…To Get Involved”. We are urging everyone to update their Facebook Profile Picture on or before this day with a picture of themselves with a clock, and that each person post ways that they can get involved in their own community to end sexual violence. I will bring suggestions for posts for the students on March 2nd. They can also create their own post. Tri-Valley Haven will have a information/ prevention table at Las Positas College and at Hacienda Crossing in Dublin (time TBA) where we will pass out information about this Day of Action and other materials from the Tri-Valley Haven RCC. I would love to have 2 – 5 students help me each shift at these tables. The shifts will likely be from 10 am – 1 pm and from 1 – 4pm. Christine from Tri-Valley Haven will bring exact details on March 2nd when she visits the classroom.
