Happy Easter Weekend

GHS STUDENTS: For next week, you'll either be in class with me, STAR testing or at site. Please inform me as to your schedule. CC HOURS AWARDED for CLASS TIME NEXT WEEK. I will be in the classroom all week next week 4/25 to 4/29. Come in and work on your portfolio!!!!

LHS: You are welcome to come by. Drop your 4/18 time sheets off with Mrs. Adelman and thank you LEXI M. for picking them up and bringing them to me...you will be rewarded.


GHS JUNIORS: Report to Mr. Rasor's room (S3) for STAR Testing

Table of Contents for the portfolio: (use sheet protectors for everything)

Academic Transcripts…..get current transcripts
CPR/First Aid Card………put in portfolio (I have these in the classroom)
Community Classroom.........one typed page of your experience at site/tasks
Examples of Work……choose a med occs assignment and put in this section
Interview Preparation.....print out "tough interview questions" from internet
College Application/Web Page...download/print the instructions for a college application
Scholarships…download/print scholarship application(s) or one or two you've done
Nursing/Med/Vet/Dental School Research….download/print home page of a school
*High School Club/Sports…what applies to you, if any
*Professional Journals…subscriptions to any magazines or journals if applicable
*Meetings and Seminars Attended…all medical meetings, CMAA, etc. (info or certificates)
*Professional Association Affiliations...membership letter from CMAA if applicable
*Applies to you? – if not, leave out. Include any other achievements and create a new Table of Contents per the examples. Adds go at the end of my TOC.

Please check the blog Monday and text me with your plans for next week. Make it a point to come in a see me in the classroom (GHS). Pick up your portfolio if you haven't already!!!!
