Your supervisors have been sent an email regarding your "Survival Kit" (procedure manual)assignment DUE 5/18 -see below. You have my permission, as long as it is slow at site, to work on this with a staff member or supervisor. It is important that you are supervised during this process in order to get approval for any materials being released for the binder. IF THERE IS ANOTHER STUDENT at your site at a different time than you, you will be given instructions on Wednesday 5/11 on meeting with them by phone or email to complete the gathering of the materials so there is no duplication of effort. Here's the letter and instructions - READ CAREFULLY, then PRINT ALL OF THIS OUT and put it in your CC binder and take your site:

Dear Site Supervisor,
It’s almost time for community classroom/internship to end for this school year. Internship ends on Friday, May 27th. The students all agree that their experience has been very helpful in assisting them with their career and post-secondary education choices.
The information below outlines an assignment that has been assigned to the ROP students.
The idea behind this assignment is to create a “survival kit”/procedure manual for each site, so next year’s student has a chance to review the information for 3 to 4 weeks prior to internship next Fall.
This procedure manual will stay at the site once internship begins and will serve as a reference manual that can be updated regularly the student and staff.
The students have been asked to work with you and/or your staff to ensure that all materials, including forms, brochures, business cards, photos of completed trays/rooms are authorized/approved prior to going into the binder.
If there is a morning and an afternoon student(s) under your supervision, I will ask them to create the manual together in order to prevent duplication of effort. The materials for the binder are due on Wednesday, May 18th. We will assemble the binders in class. The evaluation of the student is also due that day and the student will give that to you or a staff member.
Thank you for your wonderful support of the Medical Occupations Program! Please call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Laurie Erceg, CCMA-A
