MORE HOURS and a CERTIFICATE: Rep. Jerry McNerney will host a cyber-bullying event at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19 in the Multipurpose Room at Amador Valley High School.A guest speaker from Common Sense Media will give a presentation at the event. Common Sense Media is a not-for-profit national organization that provides information to parents and teachers on age-appropriate media use and online safety for children. I need 5 or 6 student quotes about the Medical Occupations Program for the new program brochure I am designing. I will put your name on the quote if that's all right with you. Would you text, call or email me with a statement, two to three sentences with your opinion of the program and how it has impacted your life?

UNIFORM RECYCLING: Please consider donating your scrub top and/or pants to the Med Occs Program. Nicole S. will be organizing this process. Plan to bring in your uniform, clean and folded nicely during the week of May 31. (the week after internship ends). Thank you for your consideration.

GIFTS FOR SITES: We will be preparing cards and gifts in class. Would you be willing to bring in some food/treats to your site during the last week too? Kalo in the p.m. class had a great idea and interviewed her staff about their favorite goodies. She said it was for a statistics assignment. Brilliant. Joey and Nicole will be heading up this project.
